David Rodwell
National Owner
David brings something rare to the role of National Owner — he’s lived the Housework Heroes franchise model from the inside. As the Western Australia State Master Franchisee for seventeen years, he built and led the WA network through sustained growth, developing deep practical knowledge of what makes a cleaning franchise succeed and what franchisees genuinely need from their head office.
When the opportunity arose to acquire the Housework Heroes group, David didn’t hesitate. He understood the brand’s real strengths — a simple, proven model, a national footprint, and a network of owner-operators who care deeply about the quality of their work — and saw clearly what active investment and leadership could do for its future.
Under Davids ownership, Housework Heroes is in an active growth phase. Investment is flowing into digital infrastructure, franchisee support systems, national marketing, and the technology that helps franchisees run better businesses. The direction is deliberate: build the brand that Australia’s best home cleaning franchisees want to be part of, and deliver the standard that Australian households deserve.
David is based in Perth and works closely with state masters and franchisees across the national network. United Home Services is also owned by David and is part of Heroes Group.
Joanna Zhang & Josh Jiang
WA State Masters
Joanna and Josh came to the WA State Master role via the path that provides the best possible foundation for it — they started as Housework Heroes franchisees. They built their own cleaning business within the network, learned the model from the ground up, and developed the kind of firsthand understanding of the franchisee experience that can’t be taught from a manual.
When the WA State Master opportunity became available, Joanna and Josh were the natural choice. Their decision to step up reflected a genuine belief in the Housework Heroes model — not a leap of faith, but a considered investment by two people who already knew what they were getting into.
With a strong background in human resources and a passion for building genuine relationships, Joanna brings a people-first approach to leading the day-to-day management of the WA network, working directly with franchisees on everything from brand standards and client quality to marketing support and new system rollouts. She brings warmth, professionalism, and a practical perspective shaped by her own time delivering the service.
Josh is an experienced business owner with over a decade of proven success in managing and growing franchise operations with a nationally recognised hospitality franchise brand. With a focus on operational excellence, strategic growth, and high standards of service, Josh brings valuable expertise and a results-driven approach to the continued development of Housework Heroes WA.
Joanna and Josh support operations across the territory, bringing the same hands-on understanding of what franchisees face week to week. They work in close partnership with National Owner David, ensuring that WA franchisees benefit from both strong local support and the full weight of national investment behind the brand. For WA franchisees and clients, they are the first and primary point of contact — accessible, experienced, and genuinely committed to the success of everyone in their network.
David Stock
QLD/NSW/ACT State Master
David Stock brings over 27 years of sales management experience to his role as State Master across Queensland, New South Wales, and the ACT. His background spans the FMCG, financial services, and health insurance sectors, with senior roles at multinational companies including Simplot and Nestlé, as well as experience owning and operating a Mortgage Choice franchise.
David’s combination of corporate discipline and franchise ownership experience gives him a distinctive perspective — he understands both the demands franchisees face and the standards a well-run network requires. He holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing, a Diploma in Financial Services, and a Certificate in Retail Practices.
