Housework Heroes – Safety Bay Fundraising for Telethon

Each year a lot of great people undertake charity work, fundraising or just moral support for those in a time of need.
Sadly this year someone close to the Housework Heroes family has been affected by a devastating illness.

Shane of Housework Heroes – Safety Bay is going to be making a difference this year. Thomas, his grandson of only 8 weeks old has been diagnose with Cystic Fibrosis.

Cystic Fibrosis is an incurable condition that effects the lungs & digestive system, clogging them with a thick, sticky mucus that causes breathing & digestive issues.
Thomas will now have to lead a life affected by this illness including constant medication, physiotherapy & the need for support from his immediate family.

In partnership with Telethon & The Club Fitness in Port Kennedy, Shane will undertake a 24 hour fitness challenge with a team to raise money for Telethon & Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.
Shane’s challenge will take place between Friday 20th – Saturday 21st October 2017, undertaking 24 hours of non-stop group fitness classes, Shane will be wearing Housework Heroes branded work-out gear.

You can help support Shane, Thomas and this great cause, by sharing his fundraising page or donating yourself if you wish to do so.

Housework Heroes – Western Australia will be donating to Shane’s fundraising campaign. If you would like to donate, that would be brilliant. However, any support from kind words or sharing Shane’s fundraising page with your friends & family would be welcome if you prefer not to donate money.

Any support and well wishes are always appreciated.
